Imagining Brazil

Imagining Brazil provides a comprehensive and multifaceted picture of Brazil in the age of globalization. Privileging diversity in relation to the authors as well as the manner in which Brazil is perceived, JessZ Souza and Valter Sinder have assembled historians, political scientists, sociologists, literary critics, and scholars of culture in an attempt to understand a complex society in all its richness and diversity.

JessZ Souza is professor at the department of sociology, UENF, Rio de Janeiro. Valter Sinder is coordinator of the course of social sciences of the Pontifical Catholic University, Rio de Janeiro and professor of anthropology at the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro.
