East Asia and Latin America: The Unlikely Alliance

This volume sheds new light on the much-neglected topic of current and potential relations between East Asia and Latin America. The contributors contend that close cooperation between peoples and governments of these two areas is feasible and desirable_and indeed that it could have beneficial effects on the shaping of a new world order in the face of globalization and in the wake of 9/11.
