He has written for The Navajo Times, Arizona Highways, Native Peoples Magazine, and High Country News.

Dr. Naomi Caldwell (consultant) is a member of the Ramapough Lenape Nation and Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Library Education Media Program at Alabama State University. She is an expert evaluator of the portrayal of indigenous peoples in media for youth and is a founding member of the Youth Literature Award Committee of the American Indian Library Association.
