Meet Misako Rocks!, a Japanese manga artist and illustrator who followed her dreams all the way to America. At age 19, she won a scholarship to come to America as an exchange student and has been making her mark ever since. Misako’s love of manga and anime led her to become a manga artist in the US, with her graphic novel Bounce Back being selected as one of the 2021 Best Graphic Novels for Children by the American Library Association. Misako has also written several books and has been featured in documentaries, TV, and radio shows, and even collaborated with Playstation.
