布蘭登．山德森（Brandon Sanderson）

　　西元1975年生於美國內布拉斯加州首府林肯。15歲時進書店見到奇幻大師羅伯特．喬丹的暢銷經典鉅作《時光之輪1：世界之眼》，從此一頭栽進奇幻故事寫作的世界，並立志向大師看齊。多年之後，山德森結識了 Tor 出版社的編輯莫許．費德（Moshe Feder），並給了他《諸神之城：伊嵐翠》的書稿。費德把稿子帶回家後，一擱就是半年。等他終於看了稿子而且驚為天人，急忙想要聯絡這位年輕新秀，不料山德森已經搬家，費德花了好一番功夫才尋得他的下落，馬上就開出條件，想簽下《諸神之城》。
