Susana Illera Martinez is a bilingual writer, graphic designer, and award-winning author. She is known for her literary works of poetry, short stories, and children’s picture books, which have been published in various countries and have received recognition in international literary competitions. Her wide range of expertise has led her to work with renowned publishers such as Disney Publishing Worldwide to create original stories based on Encanto, a film inspired by her home country. Her stories have been translated into various languages. Proud of her Colombian heritage, Susana advocates for bilingual literacy as a cultural ambassador. She is a member of the Hispanic Heritage Literature Organization (Milibrohispano) and the International Society of Latino Authors (ISLA). After graduating from the Art Center College of Design,
Mike Jackson started freelancing for all the major studios (i.e. Disney, Warner Bros.) and has worked successfully as an illustrator for over 25 years. His company "MJ Illustrations" includes a small group of very talented people, with a primary focus on children’s books and product package design. Currently located in Santa Fe, New Mexico, he enjoys doing both commercial and fine art in the beautiful environment of the great southwest.
