　　Clement C. Moore wrote this classic poem in 1822, introducing families nationwide to a uniquely American Santa -- one with rosy cheeks who flies through the air with eight tiny reindeer. Now, nearly 200 years later, the tale remains a Christmas classic with a place in the annual traditions of countless millions of American homes.

　　Janet Samuel can't remember doing anything other than creating art. Holding a bachelor's degree in illustrations from Swansea Metropolitan University, Samuel is a full-time illustrator. When she is not drawing or illustrating, she enjoys long walks with her daughter, Alice, and their little dog, Tilly.
