25 Projects for Art Explorers

Each primary-grade art project presented here is based on a picture book. Each picture book is briefly summarized, info is given on the illustrator and the art techniques used in the book and suggestions are provided for books to display. Simple instructions are then provided an art project based on the techniques and/or themes in the picture book, along with a list of materials and programming tips. Media used include watercolor, collage, painted tissue paper, and charcoal. The appendix offers brief descriptions of materials. The book contains b&w photos, book covers, and illustrations.
