Passing CTLLS Assessments

This is an essential text for all CTLLS candidates, whatever their awarding organisation. It is specifically written around the Lifelong Learning UK mandatory units for the CTLLS qualification and provides a comprehensive guide to the assessment requirements at levels 3 and 4.

Self assessment activities measure progress towards the ''Planning and Enabling Learning'' and ''Principles and Practice of Assessment'' mandatory units, and there are links to the PTLLS mandatory unit and the optional units. Ann Gravells is a lecturer in teacher training at Bishop Burton College in East Yorkshire and a consultant to The University of Cambridge′s Institute of Continuing Education. She has been teaching since 1983.

She is an external verifier for the City & Guilds teacher training qualifications, a presenter of events and a consultant for various other projects.

Ann holds a Masters in Educational Management, a PGCE, a Degree in Education, and a City & Guilds Medal of Excellence for teaching. Ann is a Fellow of the Institute for Learning and holds QTLS status.

Susan Simpson is a lecturer in teacher training at North East Lincolnshire Council Adult Community Learning Service in Grimsby. She has 25 years′ experience of teaching in compulsory and post-16 education. Susan is a curriculum manager for education and training, ICT and Business Administration and Law. She developed, managed and taught adult education programmes in Botswana for 10 years. Susan has also presented at regional level for teacher training and nationally for ICT Skills for Life.
