Though originally introduced by the manufacturing sector, Six Sigma is rapidly gaining the attention of many companies in the service sector. From employees of health insurance providers and credit card companies to uniform service providers, this book will give them a better understanding of the flow of the Six Sigma process and what tools to use when, as well as the proper way to use each tool. Samuel E. Windsor is currently owner of Delta Sigma Solutions, LLC and an ASQ Six Sigma Instructor. He is Business Systems Manager at Filtronic, where he was responsible for managing, training, and coaching departmental managers in process measurement and improvement techniques. He holds an MS in Business Administration and a BS in Engineering - Quality Control/Assurance, both from Kennedy-Western University, and an associate degree in Applied Science/Mechanical Engineering from Delaware Technical and Community College. Windsor is an ASQ Fellow, and an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Quality Engineer, Reliability Engineer, Quality Manager, Quality Auditor, and Mechanical Inspector.
