Bob Cohen is a psychologist, educator, and administrator who has been engaged in research and program development in community development, children’s mental health, and youth violence prevention. He has worked at several universities including Syracuse University, Virginia Commonwealth University and Arizona State University. He is the author of three previously published books in his Marty Fenton mystery novel series: Majorski’s Ghost, Hammond’s Choice, Ferson’s Betrayal, Montague’s Fix and Fenton’s Journey Inspiration for the Marty Fenton books comes from his experience living in Syracuse and the affinity he has for that oft-maligned city. He also draws on his professional interests in crafting his stories. Cohen has also authored or edited eight professional books. Most recently, he co-authored The Virginia Tech Massacre (Oxford Press) and Transforming Children’s Mental Health Policy into Practice (Lexington Books).
