Fatal Podcast

Eerily predictive of the shooting of a well known podcaster (September 2025), this fictional representation is about a savant-like cult leader who is hunted by an assassin who seems to be magically prevented from striking his target. The original piece was produced as a play one month (August) before the tragic real shooting in Utah took place. But this fast-paced fiction crime drama follows the staged suicide of a seemingly avergage female cult member, an event which is in some way connected to the attempted assassinations of the podcaster whom she followed. Written in dialogue form, with interchanges of memorable description, the story proceeds in non-stop fashion through the investigation of the murder/suicide and the final assassination of the podcaster, culminating in a wild chase through the streets of modern day Los Angeles after the culprit.
