Hazel Bennett has been a teacher in a wide variety of London schools for 37 years, and taught abroad. She has been a class teacher in every age-group in the primary school, and also worked in secondary and special schools. She has had great success in guiding pupils to write a variety of poems, giving children, and Hazel, pleasure and satisfaction. Hazel is the author of books for teachers: - The NQTeachers’ Survival Guide; The Trainee Teachers’ Survival Guide, 2nd Edition Class Assemblies for Primary Schools. Her aim is to give teachers practical jargon-free advice and provide resources which are useful in the classroom and save teachers’ time. Hazel has also written for children: Playscripts for Britain in the 40s - a cross-curricular book for children to enjoy learning through reading in a social group.
