Waiting for the Storm: A Green New Deal Novel

The Year is 2040...

Thanks to American ingenuity and the Green New Deal, industry, transportation, and electricity have revolutionized everyday life.

Nowhere are these changes more evident than in Durham and Dover, New Hampshire, two small cities connected via light rail and home to progressive housing and transportation systems.

These projects were spearheaded in the 2020s by a small group of forward thinking engineers, farmers, and business people.

Now, all of their work will be tested as Hurricane Mitch makes its way up the East Coast, forecasted to be the worst hurricane in thirty years.

With apprehension and hope they gather together at Barney’s Brew Pub, all of them Waiting for the Storm.
