Korin has found a new home and new friends, and the past seems safely behind him. But there are reasons Teriad never stayed in one place.
Korin never wanted the attention of other wizards, and he certainly doesn’t want any part in wizard politics, but he may not have a choice as people in the city start to get hurt. Ádan may be able to help, but only if Korin can accept the truths he learned about Ádan and his friends.
As threats around them grow, Korin and Ádan both must decide where their loyalties lie, and if ancient obligations will overwhelm their devotion to each other.
