Being raised as a Jehovah’s Witness, Rachelle grew up in a fearfilled world of lies. In her early teens she ran away from this life and spent three years living on the streets. As a young vulnerable girl on the streets of Minnesota, she became tangled in the web of a teenage prostitution ring which led her to the dangerous streets of New York. Through all of this, Rachelle suffered with severe pain from an undiagnosed brain disorder, Chiari Malformation. Fighting for a diagnosis and treatment for this supposedly rare brain disorder is her main battle. As with many disorders, Rachelle was faced with a medical wall of disbelief. Although the traumas in her life are vast, Rachelle discovers an amazing truth about herself and finds the inner strength and wisdom she needs to overcome life’s difficulties.
