Camera Obscura

High school teacher Peter Winston and his little girl observe an elderly man being pushed under a bus from a hidden vantage point, the Camera Obscura. But no one believes it's a murder, including the Santa Monica, CA police. Peter is drawn into solving this mystery while at the same time struggling to honor his promise to end his father's losing battle with Alzheimer's. Murder, euthanasia and a deceitful Catholic Church overlap explosively as Peter tries to do right in a troubled world.

Dennis Hicks was a psychotherapist for 25 years. He retired to be able to write full time. He’s married to a loving but tough in-house editor, author Stephanie Waxman.
