Dynamistress is dead.

Her horrible end, witnessed by several of her friends, teammates, and members of the public, has plunged The Pariah Project into grief and dysfunction. The major media outlets report respectfully on her passing, but the tabloids prepare to release shocking and lurid exposés about her private life.

Meanwhile, a stranger probes the team with increasingly intrusive and personal questions about the life and death of Dinah Geof-Craigs. And hanging over it all is the threat of Dane Weatherford and The Nexus, a power-hungry zealot who controls a network of telepaths, and an influx of familiar energy-depleting weapons bound for parts unknown.
