博客來Rebka came from an Eritrean family of immigrants living in Israel. Being from an African culture, dark skinned and not speaking Hebrew at home, meant that she faced numerous uphill battles at school and with her athletics training.
Rebka just wanted to both fit in, and excel. After rejecting much of her Christian heritage, Rebka ends up trying every fad from vaping, energy drinks to even purging after meals, in order to improve her running times. Finally, in a difficult situation, the hand of God shows Rebka the foolishness of all her rebellion and wrong choices. The Lord also gently then gives her new goals and a different direction in life.
