Outline: Welcome to Edi-Aleda: Itis the Year 2045.
- Ground-dwellers are the general populous. They provide the fabric of the workings of the communities. Ground-dwellers represent around 99% of the population.Amnimates are the food supply. The Ground-dwellers breed them and form part of the diet of the people. The GOD is the Government of Day. The Government of Day comprises a randomly selected panel of Ground-Dwellers. Solar-powered transport shuttles are available to move up to 50 people, however, there are also smaller shuttles known as zoops. Fresh water is abundant as during the 2030s cement channels were constructed to retain, store and redirect the flow of water during the high rain and wet seasons. There is a group of specially trained Ground-Dwellers that can act and respond to medical emergencies called Emergency Responders (ER). They work for The GOD and are
authorised and qualified to handle all matters of state.
Edi-Aleda does have its nemesis: The AIC is an Artificial Intelligence organisation created many years ago. It was designed to assist the people in the better managing of society. The AIC seeks to incur the extinction of humanity. It might explain why The AIC manufactures medium-sized bird-like flying killer robots known as The Carrion.
But Edi-Aleda also has its heroes: A clandestine team of scientists have been working with eugenics in the pursuit of creating ’better humans’ to defeat The AIC. One of them chose to use the element Helium (He) as his muse and he discovered that a human could be created with the benefit of this element. He called them ’The Flighters’.
The series of books is written in the First Person Point of View, as each chapter is dedicated to that character’s perspective.
