Weam Namou is an Iraqi American author, journalist, and filmmaker. She is the award-winning author of eight books and the co-founder and president of IAA (Iraqi Artists Association). Her writings have appeared in national and international journals and she has given lectures, workshops and poetry readings at numerous cultural and educational institutions.
