內容簡介

Sarah
Sarah Bowling is on a mission to connect every one with the heart of God while loving those who are overlooked, excluded, and ignored. Led by Holy Spirit and anchored in the Word, Sarah seeks to inspire all to know the unconditional and transformational love of God in our daily lives. She is a discerning Bible teacher, an international speaker, and a global humanitarian.
As part of Marilyn & Sarah Ministries, Sarah co-hosts a daily television program, Today with Marilyn & Sarah, reaching a potential daily audience of 2.2 billion households worldwide. Sarah has been a key-note speaker at events all over the world and has also authored numerous books, including In Step with the Spirit, Hey God, Can We Talk?, and Your Friendship with Holy Spirit.
Sarah is the founder of Saving Moses, a global humanitarian organization saving babies (5 and under) every day by meeting the most urgent and intense survival needs where help is least available. Saving Moses funds and establishes revolutionary programs in nations of the world that record the highest infant mortality rate and where babies of sex workers are most susceptible to exploitation. Visit the website at savingmoses.org.
Through her books, blogs, podcasts, videos, and live teaching events, Sarah is committed to sharing life-giving revelation that will transform lives on a daily basis. To learn more, visit sarahbowling.org.
Sarah and her husband, Reece, have three children and are Lead Pastors of Encounter Church in Denver, Colorado. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oral Roberts University and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Missouri.

Isabell
We have all experienced some level of trauma in our lives. Trauma can come into our lives through many different and varied avenues. Trauma can be verbal, physical, mental or take many other forms. Sometimes we may be aware of the trauma in our past, and sometimes not. It is important to recognize the history of trauma so that we can begin the healing process.

This book offers two parts to help you navigate towards wholeness. You will find a gripping retold story of the parable of the Good Samaritan in a modern setting. The parable of the Good Samaritan has six main characters: the victim, the bandits, a priest, a Levite, the innkeeper, and the Good Samaritan. We often only think about the victim and the good Samaritan, but we can learn much from each participant in the story. And as we think about each character, considering how we might relate to each one, we can grow and see that trauma touches all of us in a variety of ways.

This book will help you understand what trauma is, how to walk through it and action steps you can take today to move towards healing and wholeness. Jesus can still heal broken hearts, and there is a road you can take, hand-in-hand with Him, that will help you exchange ashes for beauty, mourning for laughter and how you can receive healing from heaven for the broken places in your life.

作者簡介

Growing up under the teachings of her grandmother and mom, Isabell developed a passion for the Word and for loving people well at an early age. When mental health issues and church hurt caused her to doubt her faith, God brought her back into His loving embrace.

In 2023, she graduated with a degree in Historical and Philosophical Theology and Modern Hebrew from Oral Roberts University, earning the honor of Outstanding Theology Student of the Year.

Since her graduation, Isabell has become an integral member of the Marilyn & Sarah team in writing, teaching and ministry operations.

Isabell enjoys leading a C.S. Lewis book club at her church, spending time with her friends, reading, dancing, crocheting, traveling, cooking, and watching movies.
