Laura Vae Gatz was given a camera at a young age, and has yet to put it down. An avid adventure traveler, landscape and nature photographer and writer, Laura travels the world capturing word and visual images of culture, creatures, and the inevitable dialogue in one’s head while traveling alone. Last year a friend pointed out to her that she’d traveled to all 7 continents in just 13 months. She’s published a dozen coffee table photography books from her travels, available online. In 2009 Laura published a limited edition photo book of a vintage Christian family camp on the shores of Lake Michigan. In 2011 She published Africa Via Antarctica, the tales and photographs from her around the world, two-month sabbatical. Beach Devotions was her first devotional book - available at Amazon.com. Laura lives with her husband, Rob, in the country on the edge of a wetland, southeast of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
