The Other Girls

Sometimes, you’re just chosen…After their father passes away, Adele and her younger sisters, Eliza and Cecelia, are sent to prestigious Bancroft House. However, once they get over the impressive appearance of the school, they soon realize that the house is divided between the rich girls and “the other girls.” And they belong with “the other girls.” This means that they’re not there to study but to work. This requires long hours in the flower factory with little to eat. After a while, Adele realizes that she and her sisters must find a way out of Bancroft House. However, she’s too young to leave on her own and soon gives up hope. That is, until Jolene turns up. Jolene is a ghost who was a once a powerful young witch. She offers Adele a solution to her problem—magic. With no other alternative, Adele concedes and soon starts on her path to becoming a witch.
