Sarah Stegall is the author of Farside, Deus Ex Machina and other stories. She researched and co-wrote the first three Official Guides to The X-Files, which spent fourteen weeks on the New York Times bestseller list. She has written for TOPPS, TVGuide Online, and SFScope.com. She has been reviewing science fiction and fantasy movies, books and television since 1994, and her critiques are widely cited in academic works. After earning a BA in honors liberal arts from the University of Texas, where she majored in drama, philosophy and English literature, she was a stage manager, video editor and technical writer.
