The Making of a Holy Man

Kathy Little Wolf started out on a spiritual journey to Hisle, South Dakota to meet Rudy Escamilla, a Holy Man of the Lakotas. She found not only a Holy Man, but one who has merged traditional Native American beliefs with Christianity. She found an extended family; she found rootedness in her inheritance. It was a journey that changed her life irrevocably, just as Rudy’s own journey had changed his and those around him.
