“Jones' ability to articulate what it feels like to fall in love and what love is quickened my heart rate and put words to emotions I have only felt before.”
The prophetic dreamer, Ruby's Choice (book 1) is a coming of age tale of firsts including the angst of falling in love.
While in college, Ruby falls for Reed and Brent, but senses something amiss and quickly learns of a game the two intends to play. Ruby isn't a pawn and turns the table on them.
What she doesn't expect is to fall in love.
The Ditch Lane Diaries follows three childhood friends from college to adulthood. An afternoon adventure uncovers a hidden room and mysterious stones in Campbell Ridge cave unlocking their supernatural powers. Ruby, the Prophetic Dreamer, Anna, the Divine Healer, and Sandy, the Soul Reader.
"As I was reading, I felt like I was watching a movie! This book was so entertaining and fun to read. I picked this book up and had it read within a few hours. I absolutely LOVE, love triangles, so I ate this book up. A lot of people hate love triangles, and I have even witnessed a few people leaving books bad reviews just for the fact that they do not like love triangles. In my opinion, they make the book more fun. You are more into the relationships, and you even pick a team in hopes that the person picks the boy or girl that you like better too. Love triangles are extremely frustrating, and I totally feel for all the people involved, but I just love them. I already mentioned this above, but I did love how the author had Ruby's boy problems and the stone mystery going on at the same time. While reading, I had completely forgotten about the girls and their stones until the end when Ruby and the girls bring it up again. We do get a little insight on the stones and what they mean at the end! So you definitely have to read the book to see what boy Ruby chooses. But to be honest, you just need to read this book!"
“I fell in love with the time, the place, and most of all with Ruby! She's strong, yet vulnerable, inexperienced, yet not entirely foolish. She reminded me of what it felt like to be young and experiencing love with all its joy and heartache for the very first time. The characters felt real, as did the dialogue, and the hints of supernatural elements added a tempting twist that piques the interest to continue with this different and intriguing series.”
