Colleen stepped closer to Michèle and the shimmering got worse. She was beginning to feel breathless and dizzy. She closed her eyes and grabbed onto Michèle for support, only to find Michèle holding onto her. Colleen felt sick as a jolt zipped through her body. New school—new classmates.  Colleen is still trying to adjust to both when two planes crash into the World Trade Centre.  Is the leader of the 'cool' girls really a racist? She does seem to bully her new friend Michèle, the daughter of a Haitian immigrant.  Both girls are still reeling from the events of Sept 11, 2001 when they are accidentally transported back in time and meet some of Colleen’s Irish ancestors.  Going back in time turns addictive and the girls discover their similarities as well as their differences.  But will it help them cope with the bully?
