BEING LOVED, AND NOT KNOWING IT, COULD BE DEADLY...

32-year-old Kaz Carter leaves his poverty struggles in Maynooth, Ontario, to start his life anew in Toronto, where he lands a job in a gay nightclub and has his eyes opened to a lifestyle he'd known only as forbidden.  A festive gala is held to ring in the 1988 New Year, and what Kaz doesn't detect is that he has fallen into the eyes of a psychotic hustler who vows to kill anyone that gets in the way of his delusional romance with Kaz.  After an unthinkable tragedy occurs, the degrees of separation that had guarded Kaz from a madman begin dwindling down to zero.  Kaz is driven to take action--in ways he would never have imagined back in his Maynooth days.
