Diveheart Adaptive Diver

Less than one percent of the world’s population has tried scuba diving. Less than one percent of the diving community works with people with disabilities. A very small percentage of that adaptive dive community works with individuals with virtually any disability and only one organization does all of the above and promotes and facilitates adaptive scuba, the business of adaptive scuba and ground-breaking research surrounding scuba therapy, around the world. That organization is Diveheart. After launching programs in China, Australia, Israel, the UK, all over the Caribbean and in more than two hundred cities around the U.S., Diveheart has inspired thousands of divers and instructors around the world to ＂Imagine the Possibilities＂ for individuals of all abilities in their communities. This has led to the creation of twenty additional non-profit organizations that Diveheart has helped to develop. These organizations work with individuals with disabilities and help spread the word about the power of adaptive scuba and scuba therapy. Diveheart’s work with children, adults and veterans with disabilities has led it to launch programs for children with autism in Israel, veterans with disabilities in the UK and active Marines and Navy corpsmen at Camp Pendleton and other military personnel at bases and veterans hospitals around the U.S. Since 2001 Diveheart has been pioneering new and innovative training and adaptive diving techniques to make the Adaptive Dive experience safer and more fulfilling while growing the knowledge and experience base for adaptive buddies and instructors. The Diveheart Adaptive Diver Certification program represents the latest innovations in adaptive scuba techniques, training and thinking. We believe that the Diveheart program is going to revolutionize adaptive scuba training around the world for instructors, dive buddies and adaptive divers of all abilities. Diveheart’s visibility and reputation in the dive community around the world will also help the Adaptive Diver when they travel to resorts and far away dive locations. Dive operators will know when you present the Diveheart certification card to them that you have undergone the most thorough adaptive scuba training in the world.
