Deseo

Perhaps there are vampires somewhere in your family tree. Imagine the stories they could tell. Makel comes from a family of vampires and his calling is to preserve the family oral history by journaling the tales he collects. "Deseo" is the first tale about three people entangled in a twisted game of hide and seek — the vampire sand princess with a bounty on her head and a unique power of perspective with unlimited reach; the seductive, insatiable, lovesick sociopathic atheistic vampire hunter with a unique power of persuasion and no moral misgivings about killing anyone who comes between her and the one thing she wants; and the cross-bearing man caught between them who is under a spell and at the mercy of the gatekeeper standing between him and his own memories.
