Once Again

This book of poems includes a variety of poetic types as well as themes. There are poems about politics, family members, recent cultural events, and other poets’ work. The poet, in structuring the poems, attempts to use various poetic forms, such as Sonnets, Villanelles, Pantoums, Jingles, and a Ghazal, a 17th century Arabic poetic form. These various forms give the reader an opportunity to experience poetry in new ways.
