A Lifetime Love Affair

A loving and exceptional woman. A graceful and charming man. Together, Carita and Douglas burn bright with the fire of love-the type sought after in life and dreamed about by starry-eyed youth. Forever, he would be her passionate protector, and she would light up his life with her patient love and understanding.

But real life is far from a fairy tale, and the pair soon find themselves torn apart by circumstances, separated by the cruel hands of jealousy and time. While never forgetting what they once shared, the inseparable couple end up leading very separate lives: each filled with their own set of relationships, travels, trials, and tribulations.

Destiny works in mysterious ways, however, and after decades apart, Carita and Douglas are suddenly united again by a series of unexpected events.

Although the embers of love still burn for these two, the years have presented an abundance of emotional turmoil, drama, and secrets. But will it be too much for the pair of lost loves to handle, or will their love turn out to truly be a lifetime affair?

PJ was born in the Pennsylvania area, and raised by her maternal grandparents. Considered a somewhat stubborn and obstinate child, she has always applied stamina and dedication to reaching her goals-gaining strength from each new challenge placed in front of her.

A mother of one son, PJ has recently faced some very difficult times, after her husband tragically passed away and she was diagnosed with cancer. She began writing after these events as a type of therapy for her soul, and now that she is in remission, she frequently speaks to and helps out those who are facing their own misfortunes in life.

PJ’s first novel, A Lifetime Love Affair, is inspired by her own experience of enduring love.
