To Justify the Wicked

A series of macabre murders, directed at a specific segment of professionals is unfolding. Tim Spence, founding partner in the Academy of Investigative Resources joins with members of the Beaufort, NC Police Department, The Carteret County Sheriff’s Office and the District Attorney’s Office in Prosecutorial District 4 to solve the case. What they do not know is that they are facing: a tentacled nebulous, far under the radar having no name; a shadow in which no electronics are utilized on the operational level; a darkness that maintains a cadre of operatives each of whom work in isolation. Their investigation cannot rely on evidence, data records or electronic tracking. Only investigative reasoning and structured analysis are left for them to employ. As the investigation unfolds, they discover that few things are seldom, as they appear.
