ABOUT THE AUTHOR Vinnie Hansen fled the South Dakota prairie for the California coast the day after graduating high school. Author of the Carol Sabala mysteries, Vinnie was a Claymore Award finalist for Black Beans & Venom, the seventh installment in her series (misterio press). She’s also written many published short stories including Novel Solution, in the anthology Fish or Cut Bait (Wildside Press) and Critical Mass in the upcoming Destination: Mystery! from Darkhouse Books.
