Finding My God is a plain spoken, compelling reflection of the author's eighty year journey from blind faith to conviction, inspired by the wife he fell in love with sixty-five years ago. A person of science and technology, his personal need was to rely not only on scripture but also the wisdom of persons he grew to respect and scientific truth that became known long after the Bible and Qur'an were written. Very much a Christian he believes his purely spiritual God totally inhabited Jesus and carries out His will by inhabiting all who seek His truth as it was revealed through the ministry of Jesus Christ.
The author combines an ability to discuss scientific knowledge in everyday terms with his inquisitive nature and analytical skills. He addresses those who find scientific basis to deny God and those who choose to believe our imperfect world could not possibly have been created by a God worthy of worship.
Finding My God is not about providing answers to life's incomprehensible questions. Instead, believers and non-believers are challenged, in a thought-provoking way, to consider the author's views and embark upon their own conversations regarding the subjects discussed. They include The Big Bang, God's Creation, Intelligent Human Life, The Imperfection of Humanity, The Word of God, and Heaven.
Among the questions he considers as he seeks to find a God he can call My God, the author asks:
What if science conclusively proves that Stephen Hawking is correct and God did not create our physical Universe?
What If science cannot disprove that a purely spiritual God has nonetheless been present since the very beginning of time?
What if such a God exists and is one with an infinite spiritual domain that co-exists with the finite physical Universe created by the Big Bang?
The author invites you to join him in seeking your own answers to these and many other questions.
