As we know, a real poet speaks heartily about life itself and what will draw us closer. Life teaches us on a daily basis the pros and cons, what to do and what not to do. My whole purpose of writing poetry is to share the knowledge to make life more livable for all who seeks it. Life experiences always educate the most crucial lesson. It’s difficult to live under so much pressure, figuring out what to do next, making the right decision without falling through some awaiting dungeon that time has saved for us. It is our given right to demand from our self what we really want and then go out there, cast our lines and reel in the big fish of the ocean. Writing for me is a bit different from most writers. I would write a song lyric then a poem or vice versa, whatever comes to mind. As a writer, rewrite is very important because you can always make your work stronger and clearer, in all cases a song must be understood by the second line. The feeling of giving is what propels my life as a whole, knowing that my readers and listeners are getting all the passionate strength from the knowledge that I’m sharing, whether from the printed pages, song lyrics E-cards, E-books, MP3 or from my audio books. I have no appetite for the greediness that has most people, warped in so many unwanted desires that hurt the masses on such a weighty scale. It is true that the world needs more people to lift the burden off the shoulders of the sanction poor. To get the most out of my work is through the understanding of the whole poem. It doesn’t hurt to read the poem two or three times so you can appreciate the meaning of its full significance. From each reading of anyone of the poem, you will be surprised to know what you will discover each time. All the poems are written with calmness in mind of my readers, listeners and viewers with the purpose of reconnecting the quietness of life they might be missing. The hardness of life pushes me to write every day. Therapeutically speaking, poetry lifted the numbness from my heart, gives me the power to carry on with my works that I have started more than twenty years ago. Poetry has the real antidote within its words of wisdom. Poetry doesn’t need any artificial flavor to spruce it up to life form. It has the genuine substance that all living creatures need to stay alive. Poetry is Truth, Respect, Love, Honesty, Compassion and everlasting authentic confidence.
