A Tapestry of Vice and Virtue

Lifelong friends, Shylah and Gabriel meet at their all-girls school under the caring tutelage of Sister Anthony. They share tears and laughter, eventually fulfilling their dream and opening a delicatessen in their Yorkshire hometown.

Later, with a degree from Oxford University and a promising career underway, Gabriel becomes disillusioned with corporate life. She heads to the Middle East with a mission to improve opportunities for women. Instead she encounters misogyny and persecution, before becoming embroiled in a horrific miscarriage of justice. She flees in terror to Yorkshire and to Shylah, where with Sister Anthony’s help, they work to expose the perpetrators of injustice.

In their quest, they meet with political intrigue, a passionate romance and the horrific consequences of religious extremism.
