The Untimely Journey of Veronica T. Boone - Part 2, The Jeremy Bentham

History did NOT start the day you were born.  No kidding!  12-year-old Molly has learned that lesson the hard way.  In Part 1 of The Untimely Journey of Veronica T. Boone, Molly's small town of Laurentide was destroyed by time-traveling Pug-Nasties, led by the evil Ursula Bamcroft.  Now in Part 2 Molly and Veronica are on the run, using the heroic steam engine Jeremy Bentham to travel through time themselves and cut off the Pug-Nasties before they can strike again.  From the 1950s to the 1890s, it's a race through the 20th Century as the girls try to unravel Ursula's evil scheme and keep the Pug-Nasties from messing up history.  There's only one problem:  Ursula knows where she's going and the girls don't.  Because the Jeremy Bentham left Laurentide early, it can only jump from track to track and try to keep up.  Can Veronica keep them "on-track?"  Can Molly keep from going crazy?  And can anyone explain why there's a rat in her backpack?  Stay tuned and hop aboard for the untimeliest journey of your life!
