Zoe Thompson gets the urgent text from a man called Shadow. He claims to be friends with her sister, who has joined a cult-like group that worships marijuana and lives in the remote Humboldt Redwoods.  Clarity has a history of health problems. Are her kidneys failing?

Jason Parrish, aka “Shadow,” is undercover to bust Rob Heller for drug trafficking. The mission is personal because of what happened between Heller and Jason’s kid sister. Now, Heller has set his sights on Clarity. Jason will not let that happen.

Zoe and Jason must work together to find Clarity and survive the dangers of the Humboldt Redwoods and the drug runners of the Emerald Triangle.
