Fiction author AMBER RENEE’, writes with the intent to both entertain and inspire readers. She hopes to ignite child-like imaginations, where only joy and fearless enthusiasm reside to participate in the possibilities of fantasy becoming reality. Born 1982, in a small Southern California town outside of the Mojave desert, Amber was exposed early to the art world. Her great grandmother was a well-known painter in Los Angeles, CA; and her older sister is currently a reputable visual artist throughout the Greater Los Angeles area. Influenced by such artistic pioneers, as well as any other creative geniuses in her family, Amber developed the talent of transforming aesthetically pleasing images and interesting experiences into ellaborate stories of thrilling scenarios. Instead of creating with a pencil or paintbrush, Amber used words as her equipment. Compelled to refine her natural story-telling talent and turn it into a skilled career, she triple-majored in English, Writing & Literature, at the University of California, Irvine, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. She spent her first two years at the University of California, Berkeley, where she studied Molecular & Cell Biology under some of the world’s leading chemists and biologist. She initially desired to become a geneticist, hoping to one day write her research findings as an established scientist. However, her goals changed two and a half years into her academic career at UC Berkeley, when she realized her true inner-core is in art, not biology. Prompted by various factors to return home to Southern California, she decided to transfer to UC Irvine, where she finished the last year and a half of her academic career, focusing on her talents in writing. Now Amber’s science-fiction/ fantasy publications allow her to incorporate not only her love for story-telling, but also her passion for both the physical world and of the non-physical universe. Amber is also the author of, "Babies Come From Where?!"(c)2015, a humorous fantasy that explains where babies come from, told straight from the baby’s mouth. She now lives with her loving family in Southern California, living a simple life of volunteering and writing books, grateful for the chance to share her imagination with others.
