Medium High

Henry Stark was raised an orphan, removed from his past for reasons he was never allowed to understand.  In an unlikely, amusing encounter, he meets a charming Irish widow who opens him to a whole new world.   After a lifetime of trying to find purpose, he learns of a unique gift - the ability to communicate with spirits.  His talent brings him into a world he never knew existed.  

At the center is a small group of devotees of some of the earliest teachings of Christianity, the Origenists.  The group is under attack, but from forces and for reasons they cannot understand.  Henry is the one person with the skill and determination to fight for their survival, and to keep their ancient beliefs alive.
