First performed in 1880, this stage adaptation of Jules Verne’s adventure novel tells the story of Michael Strogoff, a courier for Tsar Alexander II who must cross Siberia to deliver a secret message to Irkutsk. Along the way, Strogoff is pursued by the evil Tartar warlord Feofar Khan, who seeks to thwart his mission.
