This book examines the newly-emergent field of military design thinking, how it has been developed inside and outside of military doctrine, and the paradigms that underlie its key thinkers and methodologies.

Aaron P. Jackson, PhD, is a public servant in the Australian Department of Defence, where he is Senior Researcher, Joint and Integrated Military Operations, in Defence Science and Technology Group. He is also a serving officer in the Australian Army Reserve. A veteran of Iraq and Timor Leste, he is currently posted as Commanding Officer of 10th/27th Battalion, the Royal South Australia Regiment.
