Epidemiology and Health Policy

Originally published in 1987, this book examines the priorities of health policy in the late 20th Century and the varied approaches or strategies to foster the prevention or control of disease. Several chapters focus on specific diseases and conditions, but other areas of concern such as injuries, alcoholism, drug-abuse, occupational health and nutrition are also dealt with.
