Climate Action in Southern Africa: Implications for Climate Justice and Just Transition

Using climate justice as an analytical tool, this volume examines the role of local mitigation and adaptation actions in Southern Africa.

Philani Moyo is Professor of Sociology and Director of the Fort Hare Institute for Social and Economic Research at the University of Fort Hare in South Africa. His primary research interests are in climate justice, adaptation and resilience building, climate-resilient food systems, food justice, food sovereignty and agrarian studies.
