Green Finance and Renewable Energy in ASEAN and East Asia edited by Phoumin, Taghizadeh-Hesary and Kimura provides several empirical policy-oriented studies with new data on ASEAN member states and East Asian economies that deal with innovative and market-based solutions for unlocking private investments in renewable energy projects.

Han Phoumin is Senior Energy Economist with the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia. He has more than 20 years of experience working at various international and inter-governmental organisations related to the energy market and technologies, environment, integrated water resource management, and governance.

Farhad Taghizadeh-Hesary is Associate Professor at Tokai University in Japan. He is vice president and co-founder of the International Society for Energy Transition Studies. In 2022 he was listed on Clarivate’s list of Highly Cited Researchers. He specialises in energy economics, energy policy and green finance.

Fukunari Kimura is Professor in the Faculty of Economics, Keio University, Japan. He is also Chief Economist at the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia since 2008. He specialises in international trade and development economics.
