Zaman F. Kala is a lecturer and accredited mediator in the School of Law and Policing at the University of Central Lancashire, where he teaches on the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Prior to embarking upon a career in academia, Zaman worked as a fee earner at a leading firm of solicitors, specialising in insurance litigation and dispute resolution.

Ian Bowden is a practising solicitor advocate with many years of experience working in legal practice. He is also a Senior Teaching Fellow at Liverpool John Moores University.
