Renu Sharma
holds the position of Additional Dean of Student Affairs and is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Siksha ’O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. She is recognized as a Senior Member of IEEE, a Life Member of IE (India), a Member of IET, a Life Member of ISTE, and a Life Member of ISSE. Dr. Sharma also serves as the Chair of the Newsletter for the IEEE Bhubaneswar Subsection.In 2023, Dr. Sharma earned a notable distinction by being featured in Stanford University’s list of the top 2 percent of world scientists. Her research expertise spans a diverse range of areas, including Smart Grid, Soft Computing, Solar Photovoltaic systems, Power System Scheduling, Evolutionary Algorithms, and Wireless Sensor Networks. With a keen focus on academic mentorship, she has successfully supervised seven Ph.D. students and contributed significantly to the scholarly landscape with the publication of 158 articles of international repute.Dr. Sharma has taken on the role of Guest Editor for Special Issues in prestigious journals such as the International Journal of Power Electronics (Inderscience) and the International Journal of Innovative Computing and Applications (Inderscience). Her commitment to academic leadership is further evident through her roles as General Chair for several conferences, including IEEE ODICON 2021, ODICON 2022, the flagship conference IEEE WIECON-ECE 2020, Springer conference GTSCS-2020, and IEPCCT-2019 and IEPCCT 2021. Currently, she serves as the Publication Chair for INDISCON-2022 and as the General Chair for the 2023 IEEE 3rd International Conference on SeFeT 2023.
Dilip Kumar Mishra
is a Professor of Department of Physics, Faculty of Engineering and Technology (ITER), Siksha ’O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. He served as Research Associate at IUAC, New Delhi; fellow scientist at CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar and Visiting Researcher at UNISA-South Africa. The research area of interest of Dr. Mishra includes dilute magnetic semiconductor, defect and interface properties including magnetism, novel methods of materials processing, and studies of nano materials. He has published more than 150 research articles in the journal of international repute with five Indian patents. He has also acted as guest editor for special issue in Advanced Science Letters and International Journal of Nano and Bio Materials.
Satyanarayan Bhuyan
is a Professor in the Department of Electronics &Communication Engineering, ITER, Siksha ’O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India and obtained his Ph.D. degree from School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2011. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at National University of Singapore (NUS) and was a Scientist-I in RF and Optical Department of Institute for Infocomm Research, A*STAR, Singapore. He has supervised 12 PhD students and published 120 number of research articles. His current research involves fabrications and characterizations of solid state electronic materials, devices, advanced smart ceramics sensor design, piezoelectric actuators, Wave Electronics, Electromagnetism, wireless Energization of electrical and Electronic devices, Electric vehicle charging.
