Reflections on Life and Religion: Sir James Baillie

First published in 1952, Reflections on Life and Religion is a collection of selected entries made by Sir James Baillie from 1893 to his death. The book is divided into three main sections dealing with religion; ethical and social philosophy; and metaphysics and theory of knowledge.

Sir Walter Moberly was a British academic. He was Chairman of the University Grants Committee from 1935 to 1949 and the first Principal of St Catherine’s Foundation from 1949 to 1955.
